Remind Me Technologies
Privacy Policy
Effective July 29, 2026
This policy explains how the Remind Me application accesses, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the service.
Information we access
When you sign in with Google, Remind Me accesses your Google account identifier, name, and email address for authentication and account association. If you grant calendar permission, Remind Me also accesses your upcoming Google Calendar event titles and start times through a read-only permission.
We also process information you provide directly, including phone numbers, email addresses, contact profiles, reminder messages, delivery preferences, and scheduled dates and times. If you purchase a subscription, we store billing identifiers, subscription status, plan, and billing-period dates received from Stripe. Remind Me does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers. Operational telemetry may include browser, device, performance, and error information.
How information is used
Google profile information is used to sign you in and keep your reminders associated with your account. Calendar information is displayed in the application so you can select an event as the starting point for a reminder. Remind Me does not create, modify, or delete events in your Google Calendar.
Reminder and contact information is used to schedule and deliver the calls, text messages, and emails you request, display your saved reminders, and operate and secure the service.
Sharing and disclosure
Information is shared only with service providers as needed to operate Remind Me: Google for authentication and calendar access, Amazon Web Services for application hosting, storage, scheduling, and email delivery, Twilio for phone call and SMS delivery, and Stripe for subscription checkout, payment processing, fraud prevention, invoices, and billing management. Information is not sold, shared with data brokers, or used for targeted advertising. Mobile numbers, SMS consent records, and messaging opt-in information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Google API data
Remind Me’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Workspace API data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Storage, protection, and retention
Remind Me uses HTTPS and access controls intended to protect data in transit and restrict access to application resources. Active and recurring reminders remain until completed or deleted. Completed one-time reminder history is retained for approximately 30 days and then expires. Contact profiles and consent records remain until you delete the profile or account. Pending email-verification records expire after 24 hours, phone-verification records expire after 10 minutes, and SMS acknowledgement codes expire after seven days. Inbound SMS provider identifiers may be retained for approximately 30 days to prevent duplicate processing; message content is not retained by this acknowledgement flow. Server-side sessions expire after approximately seven days. Operational logs are generally retained for 30 days. Billing and compliance records may be retained longer where required by law, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or telecommunications providers.
SMS frequency varies according to the reminders an account holder schedules and applicable plan limits. Message and data rates may apply. Recipients may reply STOP to unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can decline Google Calendar access, although calendar-assisted reminder creation will not be available. You can revoke Remind Me’s Google access from your Google Account permissions. Within Remind Me, you can delete individual reminders and contact profiles, download an account data export, cancel an eligible subscription, or permanently delete your account.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the service or its data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when changes are published.
