Why Remind Me requests Google access
Remind Me uses your basic Google profile information—your identifier, name, and email address—to authenticate you and associate reminders with your account. With your permission, it requests read-only Google Calendar access to show upcoming events so you can use an event as the starting point for a reminder.
Remind Me does not create, edit, or delete Google Calendar events. Calendar information is used only to provide the calendar-assisted reminder feature and is not sold or used for advertising.
